Teaching Problem-Solving Skills from Metacognitive Perspective

The topic emphasized here advances the idea of education for sustainable development that empowers learners to be globally competent and competitive professionals. The author concentrates attention on the thinking skills we would like our students to exhibit when addressing unstructured problems, emphasizing the issue of metacognitive instruction, which helps to translate general directions of thinkingbased approach into applications for the classroom.
